When it comes to furniture, Italian style can be recognized for its unmistakeable touch of romance, luxury and class, factors that, combined, connote the mastery of the craftsmanship and quality of the items produced in Italy.
But what makes Made-in-Italy furniture so appreciated throughout the world? Surely its design.
The timeless charm of tiny details that make each furnishing element unique, is one of the features of Italian aesthetics.
Caring about the small details that make the difference, is the goal that drives the best craftsmen in creating fine furniture and fittings in a workmanlike manner.
Silk-screening, friezes, cymatia, the endless wood veneers, and precious gold and silver leaf details… these are the elements that transform the pieces of furniture into true gems.
Using high quality materials
When it comes to furniture, Italian items stand out first and foremost for the use of fine materials of great aesthetic significance, such as:
- Mahogany, elm, cherry, walnut wood, etc.
- Gold and silver leaves
- Marble, granite, quartz, etc.
- Fine fabric and hand-embroidered textiles
Creating classy designs
According to Italian tradition, each piece of furniture is created with the greatest attention to detail and design. Soft curves interwoven with strong lines, sinuous profiles integrated with linear surfaces.
This is why, Made-in-Italy furnishing scenarios are perfectly balanced: their design determines the character of each item, and details add a touch of showmanship.
Therefore, the attention to details, the use of fine materials and the creation of sophisticated designs, make Italian furniture a landmark of interior design.
Moreover, these quality elements are the primary essence of Arredoclassic furniture, an Italian company that embodies the aesthetic values of Made-in-Italy products.

Arredoclassic collections: high-quality products combining tradition and innovation
The Company’s goal is to focus on details and a continuous search for materials and technologies, in order to create unique and fine furniture that can revive the prestige and spirit of the Italian classic style.
This is what makes each element of the Arredoclassic Collections unique:
Let’s see these processes in detail.
Gold leaf finishing
Laying and applying gold leaves are surely among the most fascinating processes that better convey the meticulousness of furniture crafting.
Gilding with gold leaves is an ancient decorative system rooted in the noble tradition of art furniture.
Our artisans essentially use the same laying and application processes, integrating traditional techniques with the latest technological innovations.
First of all, the surface to be gilded is sanded and cleaned, so that it can absorb the glue layer underneath the gold leaf evenly.
Then, the glue is brushed manually, to check that even the smallest detail has absorbed the necessary quantity for the gilding to adhere perfectly.
Then the gold leaf is laid in small segments, to make the surface even, without ripples. Once it dries, the gilding is cleaned, and then a protective layer is applied, to preserve its sparkle over time. Now the item is ready to be painted and for the final finishing.
A sparkling detail, designed to brighten and embellish one of our pieces of furniture, must last over time. In order to do so, Arredoclassic makes use of cutting-edge technologies that ensure a long product life.
What the professionals call “high gloss” finish – often featured in pieces of furniture of our collections – is the result of our extensive experience in furniture painting.
After the MDF panels are covered with decorative paper, they are painted with “high gloss” varnish: a bright finish that never loses its texture and quality, and a formal solution that combines aesthetic and functional needs.
The surface and décor shine and brightness are ensured also by the UV lacquering that fixes and stabilizes the material quality of our products, to preserve the classic spirit and allure of our unique finishes.
Fabric and upholstering
The elements in our furniture collections are created with meticulous processes, by modelling the upholstering on top of the wooden parts, and creating comfortable and unmistakeably classy profiles.
Our artisans put great care in adhering to the proportions, in order to balance the seat shape and volume.
Everything starts from the customer, who can choose among a wide range of fabrics and upholstering materials to customise the chairs and the padding.
After the customer has selected the combination that better suits their taste, it is time for the upholsterers to fasten the fabric to the chairs, embellish them with fine beads and tassels, and finish them with great care and attention to detail.
Arredoclassic furniture perfectly balances your creativity and the Italian ability to create fine items that reflect your idea of luxury, by portraying the spirit of the classic Made-in-Italy interior design.
